Excellence In Action on Cable Channel 10 – 8:30pm – Watch Cable TV10 every Monday for an exclusive hospital program.

Spotlight on Excellence Radio Show – 8:30am – Tune into WTKF 107.1 every Tuesday for a live discussion on health information and services from Carteret General.

Stroke Support Group – 2:30pm, May 12 - Meets monthly on the 2nd Monday at CGH Learning Center, 3601 Bridges St.  Stroke survivor, Mr. David Layton will share his story during the meeting.  Call 808-6474. 

Look Good Feel Better for Female Cancer Patients – 2pm, May 12 – Learn tips for hairstyling, skin & nail care and make-up.  Meets 2nd Monday, Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov in the Hospital.  Call 808-6642.

Leukemia/Lymphoma/Myeloma Support Group – 12noon, May 13 – Meets 2nd Tuesday of February, May, August and November in the Hospital.  Lunch is provided.  Call 808-6642 to register.

Free Blood Pressure Checks, Stroke Screenings & Information – 11am-1pm, May 13, 22 & 28.  Presented by the Stroke Team in the front lobby of hospital. 

Latest Treatments for Back Pain and Osteoarthritis – 6pm, May 13 – Presented by the Carolinas Center for Joint & Spine and Dr. Ash Guirgues, Orthopedist and Spine Surgeon. Call 808-6200 to reserve a seat at the Civic Center. 

Living with Heart Failure Education Class – 9am-1pm, May 13 - Meets monthly on 2nd Tuesday at CGH Learning Center, 3601 Bridges Street.  Whether you have been diagnosed with heart disease or have had a heart attack, this free class will inspire you to have a healthier heart.  Participants learn how to maximize their health through diet, exercise and medications.  Healthy lunch included.  Call 808-6200.
