Preserving Our Tradition
Loyal friends have always remembered Carteret General Hospital. Now, more than ever, your support helps us keep our health care mission strong. The Carteret General Hospital Foundation provides an opportunity for each of us to make a gift to the hospital.
The Foundation reaches out to our neighbors so that together we may protect our Hospital's tradition of providing the best possible medical care right here in Carteret County.
Gifts to honor family members or friends may be made to any area within Carteret General Hospital. The Hospital Foundation will use all contributions to develop resources in support of the hospital and enable us to provide access to the best health care possible, through the newest technology, community service programs, upgrading existing facilities and furnishing educational opportunities for the community and staff.
At Carteret General Hospital, the Administration, Hospital Board of Directors and Foundation Board of Directors, together with highly competent staff, have brought loving care to the people of Carteret County for over 35 years. Every year, more than 50,000 people of every age seek out Carteret General’s facility. With the rapid growth in Carteret County, our hospital must also grow to prepare for tomorrow’s needs.
We strive to remain on the competitive edge for the future. During our past fiscal year, Carteret General Hospital Administration has spent any excess revenues on capital improvements and equipment purchases. As a not-for-profit facility, any surpluses realized by the Hospital are designated for the expansion and upgrading of our facility.
Carteret General Hospital is a public not-for-profit hospital. All revenues generated are used to maintain and improve health care services for people in the Carteret County area. No tax dollars are received by the hospital. The Carteret General Hospital Foundation seeks private support to assure the continuance of the quality care that has become our tradition.
Individuals who join the Founders' Circle receive this signed, numbered, framed Alan Cheek print in recognition of their support of Carteret General.
