Emergency Department
The Emergency department, a level II ER, offers 24-hour service for treating emergency medical problems. Patients are treated as quickly as possible in order of the degree of seriousness of their illness or injury. Specially trained physicians and nurses provide quality care for all types of emergencies including major trauma and heart attacks.
Now expanded to 24 private rooms including 3 large trauma rooms, 10 general examination rooms and 6 express care beds. Also, adjacent to the emergency department are five observation beds for the purpose of evaluating patients for up to 24 hours who may be waiting for test results before being admitted or discharged.
Our emergency department is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including cardiac monitors that feed into a central system, and a tube delivery transport system.
